Very nice. I like the multi-coloured wool you used for the bottom. If you had kept the plant behind and not those floral cups/tea pot, your cup-cakes would have stood out better. Change the crockery to plain colours preferably lemon green and see. :)

thanks for the tips :D  I don't have any other crockery actually, but now I have 3 plain backgrounds for my pictures, one white, one yellow and one green. I'm using them on the new pictures now. I wish I had more money to buy some props to make nice scenarios for the pictures, or time to make them. I think next year I will have more time to think about that stuff ^^

You could consider pictures from a magazine in the background -(blurred to give importance to your lovely creations) or even some pastel coloured sheer fabric arranged in a sweep!(on the plain backgrounds you have!)
:) All the best for your creativity!

thanks! I like the idea of using fabrics on the background. I have to try this. Or maybe those printed EVA sheets (they are nice because don't get wrinkled like fabric or paper)

So cute! I love them! They really look good enough to eat, and I love how you've managed to actually make them look like real cupcakes as well. The colors are fantastic! Great job!

I love the way you set up the picture with the tea set, it's so cute! And the yarn colors you chose are great too!

Thanks for the comment! I liked the colors too ^^ Looks like an orange flavored cupcake :)

But about the picture, I wasn't very comfortable with that weird plant there, but I didn't like the empty space too. Do you think it's nice this way?

I think it looks fine because it's so far in the background. I think good still life pics have a nice balance of natural and man-made objects, this one does.
